The Iditarod Begins!


Today Ms. Oakley taught a lesson on the geography of Alaska using a large floor map. The kids were given cards that had various landforms and resoures in the state of Alaska and children created symbols to use on the map. Each child read their card, and then placed the symbol on the map.
